Due to a defective track, train traffic between 's-Hertogenbosch (also known as Den Bosch) and Eindhoven is disrupted until Wednesday, 29 March. Replacement buses will operate on this route. However, for participants traveling via Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol) to Eindhoven, it is more convenient to travel to Rotterdam Central Station and there change trains to Eindhoven Central Station. Extra travel time: approximately 30 minutes.
For participants traveling via other airports, like Eindhoven Airport, Rotterdam/the Hague Airport, Brussels Airport or Düsseldorf Airport, it has no consequences.

Eindhoven is the fifth-largest city of the Netherlands. It is located in the south of the Netherlands with very good railway and road connections to Amsterdam (Schiphol), Belgium and Germany. It also has its own airport with connection to around 70 destinations (mainly Europe).
Eindhoven has seen a rapid growth over the last century due to the presence of large companies such as Philips, DAF Trucks and more recently ASML which has attracted many high-tech companies in due course. The city forms the heart of Brainport Eindhoven, which is the leading high-tech region in the Netherlands.
The conference venue is located at 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Eindhoven city centre. In and near the city centre several hotels and B&Bs are located. An overview can be found at: https://www.thisiseindhoven.com/en/all-accommodations
The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has been a natural partner in all these developments since it was established in 1956. The TU/e intends to be a research driven, design-oriented university of technology specializing in engineering science & technology.
